So I'm supposed to be studying for three tests in Zoology, Japanese, and U.S.H., but I forgot my U.S.H. stuff in my locker and I really don't want to study at the moment, so I thought I'd just write in my journal.
Moving on, Theatre we're reading a book written by Sidney Poitier and we're watching his movies in between each chapter. Drama club was this afternoon, too. I'm debating on going to the Thommy's. I wasn't nominated for any awards, but so many of my friends want me to go. I went to a Comedy Sports show last night. It was HILARIOUS! Lots of fun despite having gone alone.
Things are going going going...
Samara is coming home for a short visit tomorrow night. I'm excited about that. I have work this weekend and Kayla's birthday party in on Sunday. Much fun indeed.
That's all for now. Better go study...

It's Been Too Long

Geez! It's been a year since I posted on this thing. Kind of crazy. Of course, everything has been. Junior year of high school was quite hectic. I got so much homework at the beginning of the year, and I've gotten several teachers I've really just not cared for (*cough*FrittsSensei*coughcoughcough*). As you might have noticed, I'm not too pleased with our new Japanese teacher, and I won't be continuing with 5th-year Japanese next year, despite his reported wishfulness that I would.
I was Mary in our school production of Pride and Prejudice in February. That was nerve trying considering we had so much less time to throw the production together. Colby left us at the end of last year and has been replaced by Mrs. Reiberg. Apart from the memories of being in his class and the occasional first-year whining that they miss Colby, it's like he was never even there. Mrs. Reiberg is really great. Huddleberg (that's what Huddleston and Reiberg call themselves) have brought back the old 'Coffee House' and 'Spotlight' Theatre classes, to an extent, for next year. Those aren't the names for is anymore, though. There is now 'Advanced Theatre' and 'Theatre Tech.' I made it into Advanced, which I'm really excited about because now I'm not just going to be reciting monologues, and reading books. We're actually going to be putting on a play for each semester!
Advanced photography is great, though the first years never do anything and most of them are failing Bowle's class. I got hired to do photography and I'm working on that project right now. I had to do pictures of architecture last semester as an assignment. Bowles liked it, so he put it on display in the showcase across the hall. Of course it was seen by someone passing by and they asked if I would do the project for them.
I was thrilled. Most of the pictures have turned out really really nice. I still have alot of work to do, though, because I've only printed half of the pictures I'll be turning in, and after that I need to iron the paper because the pictures started to warp as they dried. Then I need to sepia tone them, and then they'll be all set to turn in. It's so exciting! I can totally put this on an application while applying to colleges.
I took Genetics and Zoology this year and both of those have been interesting. Classical Literature is interesting, as well. Advanced Composition is incredibly boring, though. Of course Algebra and U.S. History are just what they are. Somehow, I'm actually passing U.S.H. with an 'A'. Don't know how that works since all the other times I just barely passed with a 'B'. And for the first time since 4th grade, I'm in a class with the amazing Danielle! Hurray for best friends!
I have a new fish, now. His name is Fabian (after Fabian in Twelfth Night), and he's a purple-magenta beta. He's so small and pretty! ^_^ I actually got him at Calli and Ace's wedding in September, where I played the 'unofficial photographer' and I also caught the bouquet (^_^). I made lots of new friends at the Indiana Baha'i Summer School when I went last summer. I don't keep in contact much because they don't have time to check their e-mail/AIM, and when they do, they aren't there for too long. I also went to the Persian Conference in September where I saw Gina, Laila, and Natasha. It was nice to hang out with them again. I'm still working at David's Bridal, but I'm looking for another job so that I may pay for my gas and maybe hang out with some friends this summer. Whoo! I don't think I mentioned it, but I got my driver's license back in August. Lots of fun.
I'm going to be taking the SAT's on May 3rd. It's the same day as Samara's graduation, so I'll be driving to Richmond to join the big celebration in the evening. I'm taking four electives next year since I've gotten all my academic classes out of the way, and I only have three left to take next year. I can't waaaaaaaaaaaait to graduate! And at the same time, it's a bit weird to think about leaving and moving on... It'll be nice to have a change, though. I'll post again soon, if I can remember to do so.

Um... there have been plenty of things going on. Plenty of drama, screaming, crying blah blah blah... I think you get the point. My cousin brought her two sons over from California so they could see all their family and they don't seem to get along at all. Highschool, or anyschool for that matter, has to have some kind of Drama and I'm not talking about the stage kind, either. Then I've got school work (classes, homework, cooking, making things, ect.), everynight this week I haven't gotten to bed/fallen asleep until 11:00, and I think that once again you have recieved the point. To make this short without anything that shouldn't be said being said, I've been driven up the wall and I think I'm just going to stay up there until summer rolls around...

Ack! I've had alot to do! It's been over a month since I last posted. Well, surprisingly enough, the show went extremely well. Friday night was the best partly because the performance went so well and partly because most of my most treasured friends and family were there to see the show. That was the first time my mom has ever seen me perform. Pretty wild, huh? I am currently wearing my Peter Pan t-shirt.
I've begun to read Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy and it's pretty funny. Uncle Chris has lent me the whole series and I'm currently on "So Long and Thanks For All the Fish". I think it's very amusing. But that's my opinion.
There has been plenty of stuff going on. Today is the last day before spring break. My theatre class is now practicing a play for our class show. It's on May 1st and 6:00 p.m. if you can come to see it. We might even do a second show if we can sell enough tickets. I'm playing the ring leader of a groups of girls called "The Wedding Wenches". Wanna know why? Well, come and see the show and you'll find out. ^_^
Uhhh... I've managed to borrow a camera from school to use over the spring break because I will be going to Earlham and Lydia and I will be going out to take photos. Fun, eh? I think so. I've already started taking pictures. But I don't go until Monday and there are two full days before I arrive. T_T Tomorrow, Saturday, I'm going in to work from 9:30 to closing. Sunday Uncle Chris and I are going to go see Dance Kaleidescope downtown at the... IRT? I don't know. But Kami and Aunt Sherri were originally going to go see it but then they decided to go to Florida with Tina and Adelyn. Then they would have two tickets but no one to go and see the show. So... Uncle Chris asked if I wanted to go see it. Whoot!
Oh! And I've got a cell phone now. I've had it for about a week and I'm pretty use to it. Fun, eh? I think so. Um... I think that's all for right now... Hopefully I'll be able to post again soon! ^_^

Twelfth Night at the IRT done pirate style!!! O_O I'm in loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove! Seriously. It was soooo good. The Warren Central version was better but this was still done well. They left out the part of Fabian. They gave all of his lines to Maria. It was kind of sad. They added lines that I know were NOT in the script. I didn't like the girl who played Lady Olivia but the other characters did a fair job. The guy who played Feste, who coincedentally plays Bob Cratchet in The Christmas Carol every year, did the best job. It was so amazing with the music, and the lights, and the sand, and it was just so cool! But that is my biased opinion. You may not have thought it was that great...

Seriously. How many Native American do ballet for their ceremonial dances? How many Indians crawl across the ground on all fours? How does a person with out a script know the lines that the person playing the character doesn't? How much detail did we read over in the script? People are still asking questions and other people are answering them wrongly when all the details right down to the color or the berries Wendy wears in her hair and what's going on through Tiger Lily's mind are right there in that little, yellow-covered book. The dance coreography is hardly put together, the fight choreography is hardly put together, news has reached my ears that lighting still hasn't been figured out, several people don't know some of their lines, and this show is supposed to take place in three weeks. Can you tell me how this is going to work out? Because right now, I'm just not seeing it.

When last I posted, it was two weeks ago. Well, it's snowed since then and a great many things have happened. These things are ever so much fun. I have no idea why I haven't already started typing all of the nice lovely things that have happened and all the things that haven't. Mmm. Maybe I'm just confused.
Well, I most certainly got my hair cut, though when I originally cam out of the barber shop, it was nothing like what I had asked for. I still don't understand HOW people can get stuff wrong when you explain it to then quite plainly. Mum managed to fix it a little. This happened two weeks ago and I'm still a little bitter about it. It helped that people said they liked it when I got to school. It doesn't look as bad now it has grown out a bit.
Um... the job interview? Didn' happen for another full week becaue we lost the original form that I filled out. But I filled in a second one which got me a meeting last Wednesday and I now am a runner at David's Bridal in Castleton. I'll be working on Saturdays only and--Shoot it! I need to tell a friend of mine that I wont be able to hang out for a long while becauase of some complications. Sorry, that was random but that just goes to show me, right?
Does anyone remember that I was trying out for Peter Pan? Well, guess what? Miss Leila Eileen Spicklemire is currently a member of the cast and is enrolled as an Indian/Wolf. The best thing about the whole thing is that, in my opinion, I messed up soooooooo badly at auditions. Moving back on topic, I realize that you read the word 'wolf' in above sentences. Becuase Colby chose me to play both an Indian and an animal(I still haven't figured out how I'm going to run across the stage on all fours), I have a five second costume change(literally) as soon as I've finished dancing and exited to the off stage area. If people are wishing to come and see said performance, tickets are $7 and the dates and times are as follows:
Thursday, March 15- 7:00 p.m.
Friday, March 16- 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 18- 2:00 p.m. and (if we can possibly sell enough tickets before a certain date) 7:00 p.m.
That's all I really have for right now. Thanks for reading. Enjoy! And please try to come see Peter Pan if possible.

Geez! I haven't posted in FOREVER! Uh... What happened? I managed to get through December wihtout ripping my own head off (joking). Um... finals went okay. Atleast they were done BEFORE winter break where as some of my friends in other states are taking them now. La di da di da. I WoWed alot over winter break. I love my undead mage! ^_^ Samara also got me a WoW t-shirt from hot topic. It has the Horde insignia and reads "For the Horde" underneath that. Lots of things this year but too many to mention them all.
We did alot of shopping over break. I bought two new Tamora Pierce books with the gift card I got for Christmas and some absolutely beautiful game dice from the game store in the fashion mall. They're somewhat like a mother of pearl sheen except it isn't pale. It's actually almost black. The label said "shadow with gold". They're pretty...
But anyways, we ended the last Serenity session from the summer and it was pretty cool. Rayle went on the rampage when he found out one of his friends had been kidnapped and taken to one of the schools for "talented children." In the end, the boys broke out about 40 children, killed about 60 guards and two govenment opperatives, got out of the "school" and back onto the ship with only a bullet hole in the Captain's leg, and we became the secret underground system that would help Simon break River out five years later. We'll be starting another session over the summer and this time I'm going to be an Italian mechanic and this time I actually get to fight! ...Atleast if I'm not have a traumatic flashback... (Amelia's parents were assassinated when she was ten). I think it'll be fun.
Um... Lydia is back! Whooo! ^_^ She, Andrew, Samara, and I went to go see the most horrifying movie EVER created. It was so pathetic that I was close to tears when it ended. DON'T go see Happily N'Ever After. It's a complete waste of money.
Um... school started again. I have 5/7 of the same teacher from last semester. I thought that was great. My Literature teacher is crazy but Samara says that the entire family is that way so I guess it's okay. It's been going pretty well and I'm hoping that it will stay that way.I'll be trying out for Peter Pan next week and I'll be performing a monologue from Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest for both the try outs and for a class grade. *crosses fingers* I hope I make it. I have a job interview tomorrow and I will also be getting a hair cut (Don't flip out on me. It won't be too short like last time). I better go. I've got stuff to do...

Long time no post...

confused
My Drama Class show didn't go so well. I thought it was very short and boring. I also didn't play in that many games. That week continued on by I didn't feel enthusiastic. That Wednesday and Thursday I went to the computer lab to do a researcch paper as to why we should save the environment. That weekend was boring.
Last Monday wasn't all that exciting, either. Relatively boring through it all, though I processed the film that I had taken the Friday before. Tuesday I made a context sheet but Mr. Bowles said that I needed to retake my rule of thirds photo. Samara and Natalie picked me up after school and we all went home. I did homework, watched Samara play WoW, Natalie took a nap, and at 7:00 we all ate dinner and cleaned the house afterwards. Wednesday I went out and took more pictures. I got quite a few shots of the sun rising. One was over a bridge, another of the sun lighting a path in Warren Woods, and a third of a nice bench with a path twisting off in the background. I've been given a new assignment in Drama. We're to recreate a scene from out favorite movie. This is when I really wish that I had someone with the same general interests as me because my favorite movies are Serenity, Pirates of the Carribean, ect. The girl I've partnered up with like romance movies.
Thanksgiving wasn't all that great. It was nice to have everyone there that came but it wasn't terribly exciting. Friday, Mum, Natalie, and I went out to Washington Mall and it wasn't very crowded (ouchies >.<). Saturday was the Spicklemire Thanksgiving and that wasn't very much fun either. Samara and Natalie left just after dinner was served to pick Andrew up from the airport and I was left alone with Kami, Zach, Emily, and Clay. I made cookies with Clay later and that was fun. After everyone had left and Natalie, Samara, and Andrew had had dinner, Mum and Dad took us down town and we went on a carriage ride. ^_^ WE went home afterwards and was caught in the traffic from the State game. Guess which highscool has made Indiana History by winning State four years in a row. WARREN CENTRAL!!! WHOO!!! I'm excited about it and I hate football.
Sunday wasn't all that exciting. People woke up, we all had brunch, and did whatever until it was just mum and I left at the house. Monday sucked for me. I processed my fiilm from last Wednesday and it turned out darker than any of my other negatives had. And I swear my photo paper has turned against me. Everytime I went to make a test strip, the paper came out completely white and untouched. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I hate it. I stayed after for NHS like I've done every Monday for the last five weeks. And hey, people in NHS reading this, come and HELP us on Mondays if you want a freaking Christmas dance at all! It just 5 NHS officers, Brittney Scott, and I who're setting this up and in case you didn't notice, it doesn't take just SEVEN PEOPLE to put anything together. If you didn't understand what I just said here's a translation: Atleast help ONE Monday. Oh! And did I mention that you get school points for helping? So if you want to get in all your credit hours, here's a good way to do it!
I got to see Andy Alam on Tuesday which was nice because it was Andy and he graduated and it's always nice to see Andy. Wednesday, had nothing special to it. I'm designing my own magazine cover in photography so I worked on that today. Tomorrow I'll be trying to make my stupid photo paper work with me so that I can get a stupid text strip done which will leading to getting a nice photo finished. Today, for second time this year, Sensei has called me by my older sister's name. T_T Do I really look THAT much like Samara? *sighs* Saturday, Erin and, hopefully, Ashley will be coming over and we're all going to hang out and that'll be nice because I haven't hung out with Erin in a very long time and I've never hung out with Ashley before. ^_^ Whoot! Sounds excting to me, anyways.

Uh... this week? Wednesday wasn't terribly exciting. We went to the Language lab again and I got my oral exam in. Drama, we're still playing games. Next Tuesday, I'll just be staying after school for the show instead of going to Aunt Sherri's like I had planned. For those of you who earlier read that my Improv show would be on the 28th, the date has changed. It will be on the 14th in the Studio Theatre at 7:00.
Thursday I was handed back my Chemistry test with a pretty green sitcker stuck to the front page. ^_^ That same afternoon, Mr. Marsh told our World History class that we would be designing a video game based on the Dark Ages. My group's game is pretty cool except for the fact that Brad and I are the only two doing anything. Our game is called To Rise Above. The main character is a peasant girl or boy (name of your choice). The castle is under seige and our lovely main character is called upon to defend it. As the women and children were normally defenseless, and had to stay deep within the castle walls, the character starts on top of a tower. As you work your way down through castle, you gain in level, and as you gain in level, so can your status. At Level 7 our peasant becomes a Page, at Level 14, a Squire, and at Level 21, a Knight. Your status also affect the types of weapons that you would be allowed to use as well and as far as presentations go, no one has thought as much as we have. ^_^ I think it's shiny anyways. (I also thought of most of that).
Moving on, Friday, something really cool happened to me in Drama. We were playing an improv game called Replay. Three people would act out a scene and would have to replay it in a different way, though. Say, Colby asked the audience what type of movie would they like to watch and that answer was horror, we'd have to redo the scene as if we were in a horror movie. Well, David D., Saffold and I were on stage and Colby had asked for a language. The first one that he heard was Japanese. Well, Saffold and I are both enrolled in a Japanese class so we were actually speaking the language and David was just bumbling along speaking non-sense. Some of our classmates realized that we were actually speaking the language. It was pretty cool.
Friday night, mum and I watched Take the Lead. It was so cool! ^_^ Leila is currently thinking of enrolling in ballroom dancing classes.
Yesterday, Saturday, I did chores, homework, and baked muffins. Mum came home, we had dinner and watched Aeon Flux. It was short which was disappointing but it was interesting. Then we cleaned up and got all the food for today ready. Today we went to the center at about 9:30 to set up for the Birth of Baha`u`llah celebrations which was okay. Mum left to go to work and Sarah and Joy brought me back home after stopping at Half-Price Books. That's it. Ta-ta for now!

Um...
Nov. 7th, 2006 | 08:38 pm
There's nothing really exciting is really going on right now. Um... Sunday I just did homework and hung around the house. I didn't get much sleep that night. Monday I got up very tired and not exactly thrilled. I went to first period class and obtained the information that Aida had a sell out on Saturday night and Colby was finally able to save his beard. He looks a little bit strange now, though. I also finally managed to get a picture on one of my magazines! Yes! My face is now posted over the face of the Afgani girl whose picture was all over the National Gegraphic magazine a few years back. Uh... we started practicing normal improv games which is better because it was awkward for me to play Portia of Genoa in an improv roll. I stayed after for the NHS Chirstmas Dance decoration crew and mum picked me up at the PAC. We came home, I did my homework and the rest of the evening was just relax time. Today, I woke up which was an unfortunate event because I had slept very well and was having such a nice dream when that stupid cursed alarm clock went off. I swear that thing haunts me where ever I go. Two people said that they liked the last photo that I took last. In Japanese we went to the Language Lab and was partnered up with Ashley who I had hoped to be partnered with and who also happened to be sitting right next to me. ^_^ It was fun. Drama we're doing improv and for anyone who is in town on the 14th of November and wishes to see me make a great fool of myself, you came come to my class show. For the past couple of days in World History, we've been watching Monty Python and the Holy Graile which another boy and I are the only people who have previously seen it. I came home did homework and made yet anoher icon. Then I decided to come and write this lovely article for your enjoyment.

And so the week began. Nothing inparticularly special happened except that Halloween was on Tuesday. We didn't get many trick-or-treaters but there were more than last year. I simply dressed up in my Arwen costume and passed out candy to all the people that came my way. Wednesday wasn't too exciting. We performed improv scenes in drama. I made a new Icon on Thursday theming one of my favorite songs. Friday I got out of school just after Chemistry and went to Earlham to see my sister. Mariko was there and she seem shocked to hear me speak in Japanese. It was great fun. We stayed in Samara's house until it was time to go. We dropped Mariko-sama off a Warren Hall and Stephen and I took mom to the theatre to see Samara's play. He and I then proceded to to RPG where I would watch the game until the play was over. We met Andrew on the way over and then Rob attacked me from behind. Mum and I left at about 10:00 at night. I'm not sure whether I fell asleep in the car or whether I was simply in a subconscious state. I came straight home and went to bed. I got up this morning, Saturday, checked e-mail, did some homework, chores, and Mum and I went to the International Festival. I mum got something that looks like one of River's dresses and I'm really excited about that. We heard this incredible band. They play taiko music and I bought one of their cd's. It's truly astounding. I'm listening to the cd right now, as a matter of fact. I honestly wish that I could do that. Anyways, we came home and I had time to type out this little entry for you. Hope you had fun.

So this last week wasn't exactly the best. Monday was a terrible day for just about everyone. Tuesday didn't go as badly but it didn't go as well as planned either. Wednesday, I think you can figure out, wasn't exactly the best day for me. Thursday improved greatly and I came home in a cheery mood and Friday was quite good as well. This weekend has been nothing but boring and right now I'm just a little tired. I'm not sure wether it's from lack of sleep or over abundence of sleep. That's just a quick update. Toodles.

Okay. If you read my journal entry from two weeks ago, you know that I was re-doing a stupid homework assignment that took me the entire afternoon and evening to write out that I didn't get any other homeowrk done. I got a little sheet back from my Expository Writing teacher today and the little area that would have had my grade for that assignment was blank. Nothing was there what-so-ever. I tried to talk to her about it after class. She said that because I hadn't done it correctly and had to re-do it, the homework was late and it was my fault that I hadn't done it correctly in the first place. She never specified how my homework should be done and she had also said, when she told me that I hadn't done it the way she wold have liked, that if I did it over she wouldn't count it late. Does that make sense to you? Because it sure as heck doesn't make sense to me. So right now, I'm really angry and I just wanted to vent about it. I'll probably write a more detailed entry about my week later...

pessimistic
So tired... I guess it wasn't such a smart idea go to to bed so late. I left off last Thursday? Firday wasn't terribly exciting. I went over to Aunt Sherri's in the evening and greeted some lovely college people I haven't seen in a while. It was fun and something to do. I spent a while ogling Potter's camera. Mum came and picked me up at around ten'o'clock and we left. Soon as we got home, I went to bed.
Saturday was a relax day for me. I woke up, did a few chores, and sat around doing origami and coloring in the costumes I've designed for my character. Sean/Vincent and Samara came back for about an hour to grab Sean's coat and a dress for Samara's homecoming that night and left. Soon afterwards, mum came home and we went to Zach and Logan's birthday party. It was a night of laughs, teasing, jokes, and bonfire competitions with the drunk people a few houses down from us. Mum left early and I ended up spending the night and Aunt Sherri's. After everyone else left, Kami, Addelyn, Keevern, and I moved into the basement and fell asleep.
Sunday, I woke up at 10:00 and at about 11:00 I went home. I beat my brains out against the wall for a couple of hours getting my homework done and then took a shower. I spent the rest of the day doing whatever I wanted until mom called and siad that we would be going to feast. I changed and was just putting on the finishing touches to my make up when mom walked in the door. We left, went to feed grandma, stayed at the Center for about an hour and then went home. I went to bed that night.
Monday wasn't exactly thrilling. That freshman has started hanging around Ananya again and I wish that he would just leave her alone and us alone for that matter. Monday evening, we had a neighborhood meeting. Tuesday I came straight home, and did the lovely homework I had been assigned to do that night if not over the long weekend.
Wednesday, I went to school and was thrilled about the PSATs until I acctually got there. Afterwards, I went to the remainder of 4th period and after that lunch. Ananya pouted the entire time because Tyler had left. Drama, we simply played a bunch of fun games. I taught the entire class Psycho Circle and they loved it. Chemistry, we worked on the next chapter packet and in World History we took a little test. I went home and helped mom clean the house before going to bed.
Yesterday, Thursday, I woke up at around 10:40 and checked e-mail. Samara came home, we played WoW for a little while and then cleaned the house. Afterwards, I talked to Potter and watched a movie with mom and Samara. We went to bed around midnight.
Today is Friday, October 20th as well as my mother and father's Anniversary. Yay! This is their 22nd year. Cool, right? Dad got home at about 9:30 this morning and is sleeping right now. Mom is out getting her nails done and my sister is still asleep. Later today we're planning on going to Brown County to get some pictures and hike. Tonight we're going to the China Buffet for dinner. ^_^ Tomorrow evening we'll be going to Aunt Sherri's for a visit. That's all I hve for right now. I hope you enjoyed reading.

I left off last Tuesday, I believe. Kami and Adelyn came over Saturday night and we went to the canal. They have suddenly decided to mock me by everytime they see something by saying, "Oh my god, that is the perfect shot!" -_- Sunday was the lovely NHS induction which Kami, Adelyn and I all went to and afterwards went to Four-bucks for coffee and what-not. After spending sometime at Aunt Sherri's, mum and I went out and bought a pair of combat boots that I liked alot. ^_^
Monday, I went to school with my new combat boots and It wasn't half bad. I've finally put up my picture in photography and I developed a new roll of film that I shot on Friday. I went through the day with nothing particularly special happening. Tuesday, not much happened either. I went to Aunt Sherri's with the little homework that I had and watched Charmed, Law and Order, and Without a Trace with Aunt Sherri. And guess who was on Without a Trace!?! GINA TORRES!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! ^_^ It makes me really really really happy. Wednesday, yesterday, wasn't really all that exciting, either. I've started creating yet another RPG character and I'm drawing costumes, jewelry, I've already thought up of Assets and Complications for her. It's great.
Today, I went into photography class. We critqued the line photos and someone said that they liked mine! ^_^ Expoitory writing didn't go as well for me. That past two homework assignments she assigned us I did on the computer to save time and she told me that I had to write it out every single itty bitty tiny little word! Why do two hours of writing when it can be typed in one!? Where as any other teacher would have just taken the work and graded it for having it done and correct. -_- So that's basically what I'm doing now on top of the homework she assigned tonight, a character descirption for Drama, and a tomorrow due packet for Chemistry! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrr!
Moving on, today I recieved a note saying: CSC is administering the PSAT to college bound Juniors on Wednesday, October 18th during periods 1, 2, 3 and 4. There is a limited space available for Sophomores to take this practice test also. We would like to invite the students that are in the top 20% of the 2009 graduating class to take this exam, if they so choose. If you are interested in participating in the practice test, please pick up your ticket during lunch in Thursday, October 12h of Friday, October 13th in either cageteria. If you do NOT pickup a ticket then it is assumed that you do not wish to test. The test is free and tickets will be distributed on a first come, first server basis.
So I went to the Cafeteria to pick up my ticket because I wanted to go. Apparently they don't have the ticket booth in both cafetierias. So I had to move all the way to the other one and was made to wait for five minutes while the people to arrive so I could go to my locker and get my lunch. Leila wasn't terribly excited because during lunch, Ananya and Melinda Arthur went into the hall way and to sing "What is this Feeling?" from Wicked. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Let's just say that I hope Melinda doesn't bring her ipod tomorrow...
My mood improved slightly through Drama, Chemistry, and World History. I came home through the cold and wind, took a break and began all this lovely homework that I have ben finishing between sentences and paragraphs. Have a nice day!

Harumph!
Oct. 4th, 2006 | 03:34 pm
mood:
sick
Okay, so this week hasn't been so bad that I've started harumphing at everyone but it hasn't been exactly great either. I got a pretty cup at Ren. Faire. and on Sunday I nearly became dehydrated. Leila wasn't in a very good condition in the first place because she hasn't been getting much sleep. *head nods off against the wall*
Where was I? Monday I went to school, and it wasn't very good at all. I came home, and did homework. Mum and I went to help feed grandma and then went to Aunt Sherri's. Kami and I walked the dogs while the elder ladies caught up on info. Kami and Adelyn are coming to spend the night on Saturday. Mum and I then went home, I took a shower, and went to bed.
Tuesday, I woke up. It went slightly more smoothly than the day before. I got my litle note say that I had to attend the induction to NHS. Aunt Sherri picked me up after school and as I waited for her at the PAC, Ananya came told me what's going on. I hope that she's okay. Aunt Sherri came and we went back to her place. 4:00, Kami got home and then asked Adelyn to come over to do her hair and make-up for her concert that night. We all had dinner. And watched Charmed. Aunt Sherri took Adelyn home and Kami to her concert rehearsal. Aunt Sherri came home for a short while and we watched television as we waited to go to the concert. The time came and we left. After the concert, I came home, took a shower, and went to bed.
Today, Wednesday, I FINALLY got to produce the telephone picture and it came out wrong. I have to go back into the dark room tomorrow, leave the paper exposed for a less amount of time, and clean the negative. *nashes teeth* After first period I went on my Drama fieldtrip to the IRT. I got a very good seat (second row). It was okay but the actress who played the main female part just ruined it. Afterwards, Huddleston's class, Colby's class, and Mr. Oskay's class went to Circle Center Mall for "lunch". It was more like a ten minute lunch and then the rest of the lunch hour was spent as a shopping spree. The next play we go to (which happens to be my favorite Shakespearean play, Twelfth Night), I think I'm going to ask permission to just wander around alone. We went back to school and waited for the last period bell to ring so that we would be allowed to go home. That practically leads up to this moment in time. Thank you for reading and have a nice day.

Time for an update...
Sep. 28th, 2006 | 04:35 pm
mood:
thoughtful
Ladidadidadida. Okay. I think I posted last on Thursday. Daddy came in Saturday morning from Florida at about 2:00 in the morning. Samara arrived at about 9:00 on Saturday. I read "The Merchant of Venice" for Advanced theatre as well as I got started on my paper cranes. I spent half of the afternoon baking cookies and watching Fruit's Basket with Samara on her laptop. Family came over that night which was fun. I went to bed early after all the lovely guest left.
Sunday I woke up to find Coral in a not so good condition. In a few hours she was dead. Samara and I went to see Grandma. She was asleep but we left the flowers in her vase. We came home, Samara left to go back to Earlham, and I buried Coral in the backyard. I planted a few yellow day lillies on top. I think that she would have liked that.
Dad left Sunday evening. I woke up Monday, got dressed, and left for school. Since is was dress up day, I dressed nicely. Do not wear 3" heels for 7 hours. It hurts. T_T I also performed my monologue for Colby and the class. We began to study ancient Greece in World History. Tuesday was Disco Day so I didn't even bother to dress up. I went to school and it passed rather dully. We watched more monologues in Drama. In Chemistry we have begun to study the Atom and how to find the number of protons, electrons, and neutrons.
Wednesday, which is to say yesterday, was Salad Dressing day and, as Samara suggested, I went as French dressing. I wore my mother's red bere`e and my sister's old Jedi tunic from eight years ago. It was pretty funny. We watched even MORE monologues and we still have three more to watch next Monday. I got my monologue grade back, though. A 69 out of 76. ^_^ Colby wrote that he deffinetly saw an older version of me in my character. But I was happy with it and I hope to do better with the Shakespearean monologue that I will begin to practice next week.
Today was Pirate Day and a half day. I wore my Ren. Faire. skirt and bodice with a black dress shirt and half of my hair was worn up in a net. Can you guess what I was? ^_^ If you guessed Pirate Wench, you were correct. I only went to my first three periods today. In Photography I got to, in a way, develop my pictures. Mr. Bowles thinks my telephone picture is pretty cool. This weekend is Ren. Faire. and tomorrow I'm helping run the JNHS booth at homefest. I had better go now though, I still have many cranes to fold for tomorrow...

Here on Leila's end of the rope, things have taken an upward swing in events. Yup. This week has been kind of relaxed and yet no so. Because of GQE, the homework load had lifted. And yet the drama has grown as well.
Last Friday, my friend stopped by with a little bit of unwelcome news to tell me that his cousin, another one of my friends, attempted suicide. T_T Kwong juh duh. But he was at school yesterday and today. I was supposed to take him cookies today... hmm... I'll do it tomorrow. I hope he's okay. *sighs*
Ananya seems to be having a little bit of guy trouble. They confuse me. >.< Silly people...
Tuesday I stayed after school with Kami and her Drama Commercial crew to help with a display case for Aida. And that'll be the last time I EVER work with Christopher May. He was being so rude and mean which I guess I should have expected since he hangs out around Saffold.
On a happier note, GQE went okay and I'm hoping that I passed. Sensei asked me to join the Japanese National Honors Society yesterday and she isn't hesitating to get me involved. I'm supposed to go to homefest next Friday and I need to make 2 dozen cupcakes and Origami cranes. I have reached page 204 out of 336 in that book that I have to read for Advanced Theater. I should actually probably be practicing my monologue right now. I still have that play to read for Theatre. Mr. Bowles, my photography teacher, will be back Monday and I will hopefully be able to develop the most awesome picture in the world. Dad is coming home this weekend. Next week is Spirit Week and Thursday and Friday are half days. ^_^ The weekend after that, I'll be going to the Ren. Faire. with Annalee, Andrew, Nathan, Natalie, and Samara, and I think that's all who is going. Hmm... I should go... laundry needs to be washed and there is a monologue that still needs to be practiced.
